Sadly the 9 casks in the refreshment room weren't going on sale until the Saturday but both sets of carriages in use on the day carried a cask of real ale. One in a brake van and the other on the counter of the restaurant car. I don't know if the beer had been racked bright but it was in good nick and enhanced the day no end.
