The pub is found in Heath, West Yorkshire, WF1 5SL.
On Heath Common a short distance from Wakefield it was acquired by Clark's Brewery in 1989 and is now leased to Ossett Brewery. Built in the early 1700s and converted into a public house in 1841, it consists of 3 oak-panelled rooms with gas lighting, plus a conservatory and gardens to the rear. The pub has over thirty working gas lights, possibly the largest number in any UK pub.
We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 14 different beers and tried 4 of them.
