My plans for today have been washed-out by rainy weather and a train strike – so I sort of slip into undertaking a bit of a pub crawl around Cardiff city centre. The one place I definitely wanted to come was here. Just a handful of customers at lunchtime.

An hour to break down in Cardiff before the London train and the obvious thing to do seemed to be to return to this excellent pub that we had enjoyed so much on Friday.

We liked this pub a lot. As well as some excellent beer, I had a Bacon and Pecan Chocolate Brownie, which was jolly adventurous of me.
