Evening. Good honest house with competitive prices. Never had a bad pint here. Tonight a good debate was afire about the sequence of events during the Falklands War. Immediate Google access can sometimes kill an argument.

Late Saturday afternoon, the front part of the pub was very busy so we ventured up to the room at the rear of the pub before heading to the Railway Station via the Village Free House.

Near the railway station in Fisherton Street. A small dark front bar with settles and round tables is complemented by a larger atmospheric room up some stairs to the rear which has sofas and larger oblong tables. 3 handpumps with a fixed range of real ales.
