Late lunchtime. Walked in with our rather hyper dog while my wife was browsing the quaint shops. Very busy and I didn’t feel comfortable barging through tables of diners to get to the bar. Shame - looks interesting.

19:00 Rear bar starting to fill up with diners. Moved through to the front bar, sign said No Riff Raff but I ignored that. A superb place to enjoy a quiet drink.

Superb stone built hotel in the heart of the village in High Street. Baronial rear saloon bar with a moulded ceiling and stone fireplace and a more basic public bar with a long built in settle. Crisps are kept in a basket suspended above the bar.
We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
