Very busy footfall for late afternoon visit and following on from The George. Prompt Service and a seat to be had in this historic Brakspear pub. Mostly punters in drinking rather than eating which is what I like to see. The interior looks very ancient and intact which is good to see and a fine looking Victorian exterior.

A pleasant evening for a walk along the Thames after work and I get as far as here before the call of a pint overcomes me. Despite its slightly off-the-beaten track location, this pub always seems to be busy.

Early evening visit and there are many people out the front enjoying the evening sunshine, with others inside watching World Cup football.

The pub is found in Bermondsey, Central London, SE1 3QP.

A long-established pub that is close to London Bridge railway station, but tucked away on the wrong side of the tracks to attract the tourist trade. It has quite a large interior, a cute upstairs lounge and balcony and an unexpected rear garden. Said to be popular with London’s Mongolian community.

We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 8 different beers and tried 2 of them.
