The pub is found in Lydiate, Merseyside, L31 4HD.

CAMRA Heritage pub. Thatched, three rooms. First room has a cubicle bar, built in seating, a venerable dominoes table, and a cruck beam. The second room has whitewashed walls and pine tables with a cosy built in seat in the inglenook and the third room has more comfortable seating. The pub is noted for its weekly motorcycle meet. One such in June 2014 saw 500 bikes turn up. The thatched roof was destroyed by fire on Tuesday 6th December 2016 but fortunately the main roof structure and fabric of the building were saved. Reopened in April 2017, having changed hands in November 2018. Pies & cheese boards have been introduced and they continue with the usual car nights on a Monday and Bikers on a Wednesday. Live music is hosted every Friday & Open Mic Every Saturday both from 8pm.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 2 of them.
