We arrived not long after 12.00 opening and obviously disturbed the disgruntled landlord in having to deal with customers. Loud music blaring out to no one elses benefit didn't make for a pleasant relaxed atmopshere.

Early evening just one beer on offer. Quiet just a couple of others in upon arrival. Music far too loud made for an uncomfortable atmosphere.

Evening. Must be 30 years since last visit here. Only 1 real ale but was 25p off per pint all day Sunday.

The pub is found in Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG31 6SE.
Ancient building in Castlegate which is famous for its living sign - a beehive in a lime tree that grows directly in front of the pub. Has some letting rooms. Pool dominates in the right hand bar. 3 handpumps on the counter of the left hand bar. Large terraced garden.
We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 5 different beers and tried 3 of them.
