The pub is found in Prestonpans, East Lothian, EH32 9BE.
Superb pub in High Street dating from 1908, closed in 2001 and re-opened in 2003 after restoration. Run along Gothenburg lines, a percentage of the profits go to the local community. The main bar is magnificent with a central servery and wooden alcoves around the outer wall. One alcove contains some memorabilia associated with the former Fowlers brewery. There is a separate dining room and a further room upstairs. There is also a micro-brewery at the rear of the pub. Currently closed with rumours of a February 2023 re-opening. Latest talk is of re-opening as an Indian restaurant in July 2025 and it did.
