Early evening - a handful of people in.
This was probably the first pub I was ever taken to - as a 3 or 4 year old to watch my mum play bat and trap. Haven't been in for about 30 years - hasn't changed much!

The pub is found in Canterbury, Kent, CT2 8PU.
1950s purpose built pub on large estate. Detached property with garden, bat and trap, pool, darts. Retains traditional two bars - public and saloon. The original estate roads were all named after characters from Chaucer's Canterbury Tales (including the wonderfully named Wife of Bath Hill). The Gentil Knyght was one of the main characters (The Knyghts Tale).
We have visited this pub twice, seen 1 beer and tried it.
