Lunchtime call. Could easily while away the rest of the day here. A superb find. With so many healthy types around I was the only ale drinker.

The pub is found in Capel Curig, Conwy, LL24 0ET.
Primarily a cluster of buildings which is an outdoor pursuit centre. The modern but basically furnished bar doubles as the food supply for users before and after their exertions. Superb mountain and lake views from the panoramic windows. Good honest food and local beer with the latter pulled through 3 handpumps with a little wooden bar and padlock to stop unauthorised use after hours.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
