Quiet in here in the afternoon. Halloween decorations were going up. I neglected to scribble down a beer list.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Amundsen Bryggeri - Ink & Dagger6.50AcceptableFrom keg. An over-fizzed IPA.

Mid-afternoon. Several people have moved on here when the Spa Valley Railway Beer Festival started to dry up.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Staggeringly Good - Thai-Ranno Citrus IPA4.00GoodGolden and hazy. Dry. A great, lingering citrus flavour from the use of Kaffir Limes in the brew. But a bit fizzy from a key-keg. Three days later and I’ve just got the dinosaur joke in the beer’s name.
Heavy Industry - Freak Chick4.60AcceptableA murky brown beer. Didn’t seem quite right.
Dark Star - Hophead was 3.8% (some has also been brewed by Fuller's)3.40Not Tried

Nice pub. A light late-afternoon custom.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Pig & Porter - Lost Colony4.80AcceptableA golden, fruity beer in the APA style, spoiled by very flat condition.

Mid afternoon. The beers are all served from taps on the wall behind the bar. It was not easy to see what beers were available without peering and trying to read the pump clips behind the taps. For this reason I am only able to record the one beer I had.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Stewart - Belgique Gold4.80AcceptableNot sure whether it was the Belgian sour taste or it was past its best but it was just drinkable.
