13:15 Late lunch following a visit to Ickworth House. Nice to find a pub open on a Monday. Interesting collection of clips from previous guests, I was unlucky today. Excellent Ploughman's.

Corner pub at the north end of the village. Three rooms. Left hand side Public Bar with a lower extension housing a pool table. Snug bar in the middle with one large table, bar back in this room houses a nice collection of Greene King miniature handles. Right hand side, lounge bar / dining room. Sets of hand pumps in all three rooms, matchboard wainscotting throughout. Three Greene King beers with two ever changing guests.
