16:30 Having failed on the church tour we had to work our way across country to get home as the A47 had been shut following four accidents. I hadn't been here since the renovation. Three pumps, two with the clips turned round. Apparently only one member of staff working and a queue to get served. As the only beer was Wherry I didn't bother waiting.

About The Maltsters

The pub sign. The Maltsters, Ranworth, Norfolk

The pub is found in Ranworth, Norfolk, NR13 6AB.

In The hill, across the road from the pleasure boat staithe on Malthouse Broad. Recent renovation has resulted in a fairly standard pastel painted gastro pub catering for the holiday makers. The writing on the outside describes it as a traditional country inn. Previously one room had a wonderful bar counter in the shape of a boat complete with a ship-lapped side. Sadly swept away in the name of progress. Fortunately the boat bar has been preserved and now has a permanent home at the Museum of the Broads at Stalham.

We have visited this pub once, seen 1 beer and tried 0 of them.
