16:30 Mattishall was the third stop on a church tour and whilst my wife enjoyed tea and biscuits in the church, I had a couple of pints in the pub. I last visited in 2008 and the pub has in the meantime undergone a period of closure and a renovation. Much smarter now.

The pub is found in Mattishall, Norfolk, NR20 3QB.
Single room L shaped pub in the centre of the village. Fairly modernised interior but traces remain of the 1937 rebuild, including wainscotting and Brewers' Tudor beams. The small part of the L shape is occupied by a pool table. Three handpumps.
