The second of a tour of pubs that I rarely visit, it was originally planned to be the third but a brawl outside a town centre pub put me off going in there and confirmed my reasons for rarely venturing inside. A pleasant atmosphere and I was pleased to see a cask beer on sale in good condition.

Situated at the bottom of East Hill adjacent to the former Pledge's Flour Mills which were once home to the Packhorse Brewery. This pub has been opened out in to one long bar and is often used as a music venue.
