14:45 First stop on a heritage pub walk from Waverley station to Leith Ocean Terminal. No real ale but the McEwans 80/- was surprisingly drinkable.

Tiny one room bar opposite Waverley railway station. CAMRA Heritage pub for its stunning gantry. The bar itself has been moved to one end with a new counter but the historic bar back runs along the length of one wall. No real ale.
