Busy outside but they managed to seat a group of fifteen of inside (which I prefer). Table service only at the moment.

What a lovely pub. The interior was in keeping with the exterior which wss great. Felt I'd stepped back 200 years. Loved it.

In Bishopgate, a Dutch-gabled pub which claims to be the oldest in Norwich (parts date from 1249). The tiny low-ceilinged oak-beamed bar is supplemented by a snug, and a separate bar used as a function room.
