Lunchtime - quite busy with dinners. Good fresh food but took a while to come.

Quiet location in Church Lane in the Grappenhall sitrict - next to the church at the end of a cul-de-sac. Three areas around the central bar with one half given over to dining. Three hand-pumps with well publicised tasting notes for the real ale. Patio areas to the front and side, About three miles from the M6.
