The pub is found in Borough, Central London, SE1 1DR.
A traditional, street corner pub, somewhat off the beaten track between Borough and Elephant & Castle. Historically a Truman’s pub it was closed and derelict when Dave Bruce acquired the premises in 1979, bringing it back to life as the Goose & Firkin and reviving the concept of home-brewing within pubs. Following the rise and fall of the Firkin chain this pub moved to Shepherd Neame and has been very much restored as well as reverting to its traditional name.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 1 beer and tried it.
