The pub is found in Limehouse, Greater London, E14 7NW.
A traditional East End pub located on the corner of a Georgian Square, tucked away close to Limehouse Station. It was present by 1869 and for much of its history it was a Watney’s house. The main bar area is quite small, but there are two further seating areas leading off, one with a pool table. Known as a gay pub, with weekend cabaret acts a speciality, but welcoming to all. Threatened with closure in 2012 the pub survived and lives on.
We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
