---|---|---|---|
Villages - Toucan | 4.30 | On keg dispense and a little bit fizzier than I like. A cloudy, golden, spicy, Session IPA. |
Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Villages - Oboe | 5.30 | Keg dispense. A very nice, black, Porter/Stout. Chocolaty flavours, a dryness and some fruit. | |
Villages - Whistle | 4.40 | Keg dispense. A Pilsner-style beer. Nice and clean, but I found it too sweet. |
Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Villages - Pontoon | 4.30 | Billed as a ‘South Pacific Red Ale’. Reddish in colour. Very good, fruity hop flavours. | |
Villages - Rodeo | 4.60 | Golden in colour. A nicely balanced Pale Ale. Not a hopfest. | |
Gipsy Hill - Les Gilles | 6.50 | A collaboration beer with Villages Brewery. A rather odd beer I thought. A Belgian-style Dubbel, flavoured with cherries. Woody. I’m not convinced that the idea really worked. |
