The pub is found in West Drayton, Greater London, UB8 2HT.
An imposing pub in what seems an unlikely residential area for a pub of this size, until you realise that the Grand Union Canal passes by a couple of hundred yards behind the pub. As the pub name suggests, it was once possible to travel to here from Paddington by a scheduled boat service. Inside, the pub has been opened out but still has a small Public Bar area at the front, a games room to the right and more of a dining room appearance to the left. Sold to a development company by Fuller's with continued permission for licensee to stay but long term future uncertain.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
