I have some time in hand ahead of a train from Paddington Station and pop in for a quick one here in the mid-afternoon.

| Sambrook's - Watneys The Cosmo | 4.60 | | I continue to be baffled by Sambrook’s use of the Watney’s name. Particularly for a nice, hoppy Pale Ale such as this which is far removed from anything Watney’s brewed when they were a real brewery as opposed to a brand name. |

A very large, modern pub in the new development around Paddington Basin. Initially the Grand Union, it was renamed in late-2017 to Draft House. Re-opened as a BrewDog outlet March 2019.
