Early afternoon visit, a place with potential but today the place had more than its fair share of people who do not seem to know how to talk quietly. It was nice and peaceful after they left. The sandwiches that were delivered from the shop next door looked appetising.

Mid evening visit after a 246 bus from its sister pub of the same name in Hayes. Immediately welcoming on a miserable wet winter's night, lightly loaded as seems yet to entrance the burghers of Westerham but it will. The micropub magic worked and I was soon in conversation with an ex farrier. Opening hours are expected to change in the new year.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Larkins - Porter5.20GoodA delight I have not tasted for some years as Larkins is very much a local beer not travelling far from its home
Larkins - Pale4.20GoodGood sharp bitterness which lingered on the lips

The pub is found in Westerham, Kent, TN16 1RA.

In High Street, a micropub in the re-use of a former funeral director's premises. It opened in November 2019 and is a sister establishment to The Real Ale Way in Hayes in Greater London. It is on two floors with the real ales and ciders dispensed on gravity from a chilled room on the ground floor. Handily placed on the London Buses 246 bus route from / to Bromley which also passes its sister pub in Hayes. Permanently closed in early August 2022. Apparently now converted to a café in spring 2023.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 7 different beers and tried 4 of them.
