King Beer (formerly W.J. King) - Red River | 4.80 | Pale chestnut, lasting thin ivory head. Nice sweetish earthy ESB. I think I've had this before in bottle from the Cask & Glass in Tonbridge. Good malts, good depth, decent hops on the end which are quite earthy.
Ringwood - 4X Porter | 4.70 | Very deep ruby colour, lasting dark beige head. Some choc on aroma, some dark fruits, black cherry, dark plum. Some fullness. Really very good condition, some lasting fruit sweetness. It's even a little whisky like in the malts.
Greene King - IPA (was 3.6%) | 3.40 | Not Tried

Corner pub near the old Brooklands race circuit. Central bar serves one large L shaped room. 9 handpumps, with 8 on at any one time. Pump clips around the main bar, testify to the many guest beers served. Agricultural implements hang from the ceiling and wall. Real fires in both bars. Attractive beamed ceiling. Mobile phone free.
