Mid afternoon on a hot sunny day (28C) and thanks to its perfect location just out of sight and mind of the bustling touristy marina not too busy to chill out, enjoy a refreshing pint and watch the many boats buzzing about.

Lunchtime refreshment stop for this tucked away worth seeking out bar on the edge of town avoiding all the ubiquitous tourist traps and fake Irish bars. Friendly and welcoming with many folk coming and going during my stay. I've only listed what I had, I took a photo of the beer list instead and will be available soon.

A firm favourite with locals and visitors alike, Atlas is a friendly, unpretentious bar, hidden away at the back of Steamer Wharf. If you haven't visited us before, Atlas is the place for craft beers, delicious breakfasts and lunches, fantastic coffee, amazing tapas and famous steaks. Did we mention the lake views and the excellent service? Atlas Beer Café is boutique brews, fine fare and all round awesomeness – see you when you get here!
