Even busier than my visit 3 weeks before and from the extra footfall in Reigate because of the Christmas Lights' festivities which had died down following our visit to the Pilgrim's taproom. At least we could prise our way in on our early evening visit into this narrow and petite pub. One of our trio had left us for an earlier train. We still managed to get served reasonably promptly on choosing one of six real ales on. Plastic beakers instead of glasses for even supping on the inside due to the earlier crowds to Reigate.

My 4th visit of the day having now reached Reigate mid-afternoon and very busy. Friendly and prompt service and a welcome seat to be had in the rear long narrow section of the pub overlooking its equally long, narrow bar.

The pub is found in Reigate, Surrey, RH2 7AD.

In Bell Street, said to be the oldest pub in Reigate and in 1990 sold to Greene King. Deceptively large as only a tiny frontage leads to a long, narrow rear and an adjoining patio garden. Guest beers are frequent and on my first visit I had a Surrey Hills’ Shere Drop, while there were also two from By The Horns, one from St Austell and one from Drop Kick Brewing. Children are welcome in the pub only until 5pm and unusually no food is sold but you can bring in your own take-away.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 10 different beers and tried 1 of them.
