Early evening busy with folk everywhere enjoying the balmy weather. Similar beers as per my visit on Tuesday, this time I've opted for the tempting stouts.

Well signposted from the main road and convenient bus stop for this friendly and welcoming micro brewery. Enthusiastic and obviously knowledgeable barman despite busy serving customers made time to chat about the local beer scene.

The pub is found in Queenstown, New Zealand, 9300.
Our independently owned and operated brewery started as a passion project by founder Lewis Gaskin in 2015. Originally a tortilla factory, Lewis and his partner Anna moved into the empty warehouse as they hand-built every inch of the brewery and taproom into what it is today. June 2018 saw Searchlight open its doors to the public for the first time and the first pints poured. It now features 19 taps, a beer garden, kitchen and taproom.
