The pub is found in Bromley, Greater London, BR2 9HG.
Located just off the main road in St Marks Road in a building known as the H.G. Wells Centre. An imposing detached building whose side entrance is surrounded by security fencing. A membership club with electronic entrance mechanisms. In a number of past CAMRA Good Beer Guides and often a favourite in that publication. Welcomes CAMRA members on production of a current membership card. The large bar is equipped with 2 handpumps which carry Shepherd Neame of Faversham Ales. Permanently closed July 2017 for demolition as part of the redevelopment of the area.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 3 different beers and tried 2 of them.
