Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Brasserie Lefebvre - Abbaye de Bonne-Esperance | 7.80 | ![]() | A very pale, slightly sweet abbey beer. |
Brasserie Lefebvre - Belgian Kriek | 3.50 | ![]() | An outrageously sweet, glowing red, cherry beer, with pink foam. Normally I would hate such an abomination, but I’m deeming it ‘acceptable’ because it worked well as a sweet after a heavy meal. |

The pub is found in Estinnes, Belgium, 7120.
This tavern is attached to the Norbertine Abbaye de Bonne-Esperance, the building also housing the abbey bakery. The farmhouse across the courtyard sells ducks, chickens, eggs, cheese, rabbits and honey. The pub has two large rooms and a substantial rear garden with views of the abbey buildings. This pub is the main sales point for Abbaye de Bonne-Esperance beers, the brewing of which is licensed to the Lefebvre Brewery.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
