My first visit here, this place was recommended to us by some CAMRA members who were drinking in the Red Herring. Apparently this pub reopened in April 2021 after a long period of closure.

12:50 Two other drinkers, one on the slot machine. The pub dog took a shine to me and went to sleep on my feet.

Back street local in Blackfriars Road, with two rooms one given over to the pool table. Of note are the exterior Lacons tiled panels and the bar counter and bar back that, whilst modern, have a certain style.
