19:45 Group in front of the bar but otherwise quiet. Landlord was thus able to devote some time to my questions for the GBG survey.

15:00 Much changed from previous reports. Third new Landlord since Blue Moon days. I have been drinking here for 10 years but this was my first visit since the new people took over. Rig-a-jig-jig, a traditional Norfolk music band, were playing in the public bar. Step dancing, singing and foot stomping. Great atmosphere.

Brewery at rear housing the Blue Moon and Spectrum breweries. Pub on main road into Norwich in Barford. Longish pub, with several drinking areas, served by single bar with 3 handpumps. Wood burning stove in public bar.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Blue Moon - Easy Life3.80AcceptableHazy gold, lasting beige head. Earthy hop aroma, quite smooth in mouth, moderate condition, dusty earthy citrus finish, bit of satsuma. A little agricultural perhaps.
Blue Moon - Moondance4.70PoorRubbery aroma, not great. Slightly fruity aroma. Rubber actually settles down a bit. Malts are a little roasted, earthy hops and then tongue tingling citrus. Still odd though.

This pub is the brewery tap for the Blue Moon brewery (which is found out the back). The interior is great with rope carpets and terracotta wall boards.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Blue Moon - Easy Life3.80AcceptableCloudy. Soft subtle straw flavours with a watery sharp bitter finish.
