The pub is found in Camden Town, Central London, NW1 0TH.
Street corner pub just off the Main Drag in Camden in Royal College Street. One long thin room. Superb mirrored bar back and a glazed screen which formerly separated the off-sales from the saloon bar. A Charrington's Toby Stout mirror hangs at one end of the pub. There are some interesting Charrington cellarman's certificates hanging behind and date from the 1970s and the 1980s. The Pubco sold the pub to developers for conversion to flats. The local council has deemed that the pub is a community asset as it provides the former billiard room upstairs for group meetings and has refused planning permission. A rare turn of events. Now in private hands.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 3 different beers and tried 2 of them.
