Mid evening visit. Found it by chance this time on a wander, as I usually only know the route from Hyde Park Corner station. Enthusiastic and knowledgable young barman was well up on Fuller's & Friends collaborations.

Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - New English IPA (Fuller's & Friends collaboration with Wiper & True)6.50ExcellentOne wonders if this was how the original IPAs tasted after their long voyage to south Asia

Very busy in the early evening. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it as crowded as this on my occasional visits and it certainly gives a different feel to the pub. Hot and noisy.

15:00 Fifth stop on the Heritage trail. Reasonably busy. The Fullers pub sign hanging on the second floor wall must be the highest placed in the country.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - Jack Frost4.50GoodHas blackberries in the recipe. I think this must be new as I don't remember fruit being in the beer year's ago.

Early evening and comfortably busy. Good to sink into a comfy armchair after a day in the office.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - Gale's Firecracker4.80AcceptableNot a hint of the smokiness I was hoping for when I ordered it. In fact it is a dark brown, sweetish, malty beer – reminiscent in fact of the Gales Brewery beers it pretends to be. Great condition here, but not really my thing.

Evening 2230 hrs. Peace and tranquility ruined by off duty member of staff sitting at the bar making long portable telephone conversation.

Sunday lunchtime visit and the pub is fairly quiet with a few tables taken for lunch and a few newspaper readers in the comfy chairs – posh papers around here, obviously. A bit nippy outside, but the fire is on.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride4.10GoodAbout as good as Pride gets, with biscuit malt to the fore and a bit of a bite.
