Worth a visit to this eclectic pub for the unusual and tasty food on offer compared to the usual run of the mill fare.
Oakham - Bishops Farewell | 4.60 | | A golden, premium beer with a smooth, malty background, rich and fruity hop flavours and a refreshing finish. |

Saturday afternoon and it seemed quiet, but I think there were a good number of people on other floors. I just had to have another portion of jerk chicken which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Tydd Steam - Dr Fox's Cunning Linctus | 4.00 | | I did not make a note of the ABV of this and have had to guess it, I was probably being too careful about asking the pretty girl for Cunning Linctus. A very good tasty bitter. |

A nice quiet lunchtime, well it was quiet until our crowd of about twelve people arrived. We enjoyed a beer each, and some us sampled the interesting food selection on offer. I thoroughly enjoyed my jerk chicken.
Great Oakley - Eleanor Cross | 3.80 | | A little on the cold side, and a slight haze. Spicy and citrusy. |
Newby Wyke - White Squall | 4.80 | Not Tried

Eleven of us walked in to here whilst on a tour of the GBG pubs in Stamford. It was fairly quiet at lunchtime but we were amazed. Three real ales in very good condition, a superb jambalaya, and good music played at a low volume. I expect, and hope, that this place gets busy in the evening.
Newby Wyke - White Squall | 4.80
Oldershaw - Hollydaze | 4.10
Tydd Steam - Yooligan | 4.70 | | Fruity, dark, sweet, and taste of Christmas Pudding |
