Six of us called in for Sunday roast and a pint. Good mix of regulars eating and drinking. Large tap room, coupled with a lounge mainly given up for dining. Interesting local pictures and artifacts. Welcoming pub.

Hambleton - Ghoulish Ghost4.00ExcellentMight have got the name slightly wrong-the usual suspects couldn't help! anyway, a pleasant Halloween inspired beer.Fairly brown and malty, acceptable for Sunday lunch.
Cottage - Howling Ale4.50Not TriedWas given a taster: pleasant, but I couldn't have a proper drink, as I was to drive later on.
