3 beers on and quiz evening. Boss was pleased to hear about magnus' review of the Conk, even though Colin, original owner was in the bar. I think he meant the second owners.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Kent - Tech Noir6.10ExceptionalThis stout was superb. Pity magnus could only have a half. I'm on my second pint.
18 Nov 2024 (Magnus Greel)
Mid afternoon and busy with regulars. Much more friendly and welcoming from the current licencees compared to the previous thus we enjoyed our extended stay.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Kent - The Quiet American4.20ExcellentHoppy pale ale straw coloured and immensely quaffable. Dangerous!
Kent - Tech Noir6.10ExcellentJust a tentative half of this rich complex spicy porter with an instantly recognisable pump clip depicting the Tech Noir nightclub logo featured in the original Terminator movie.
Surrey Hills - Greensand IPA4.60GoodA hoppier stronger version of Shere Drop.

Another not visited since this time last year. Busy for my mid-afternoon visit. A friendly welcome and prompt service in this fine little micro and bingo, I was able to still follow the green hop theme here as well.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Chislet - Wild Lane - Green Hop Pale Ale (2024)4.00Good5th and last visit of the day in Ramsgate was this green hop that was slightly minus head and lacing but a lovely hoppy mouthfeel. It had a dry aftertaste with a mildly fruity flavour added in and so a touch applely to my taste-buds.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Dark Conspiracy4.90Not TriedA hoppy porter.
Wantsum - Hengist5.00Not Tried
Kent - No Kinda Plan4.90Not Tried
