We arrived soon after 5pm opening and sat in the former saloon bar/restaurant area by the welcoming log fire. Adnams Old is coming soon.

This pub does not open until 6pm on Mondays to Saturdays so I took advantage of the all day opening on Sundays to pay a visit. The emphasis was very much on dining so I just had the one pint and left

Second stop on the mini crawl. This pub was in the good beer guide recently so we gave it a go. Lovely building and friendly people inside but the beer let it down big time.
