I hadn't thought about there being a Spoons in Morpeth until I read the reviews on here. An average spoons with a strange layout.

Brand new weatherspoon pub created out of an old nightclub althogh it started life as a cinema and this is the theme that has been retained its name comes from a magican who performed amazing tricks with electricity many years ago apparently a large glass chandelier has been added for effect. The bar opened Tuesday gone and has been very busy getting served takes some time as the bar area is narrow and becomes congested however it has a pleasant atmosphere and good selection of beers

High House Barn (formerly High House Farm) - Red Shep
The pub is found in Morpeth, Northumberland, NE61 1PS.
Located 11 New Market in Morpeth. Opened 15th March 2011. This former cinema first opened its doors for a gala preformance in December 1926. It was designed by C. Franklin Murphy and is now named after Dr Walford Bodie, the Electrical Wizard who entertained packed audiences in these premises in the cinema's early years. Bodie was famous for his 'shocking' magic tricks using electricity.
We have visited this pub 5 times, seen 15 different beers and tried 13 of them.
