1230 and my second stop today. A nice old fashioned pub, log fire crackling away, with plenty of nautically themed decor.

The pub is found in Harwich, Essex, CO12 3DR.

A traditional English pub in Church Street, first licensed as a beer house in 1872. It is easy to find, being next to the church. Once inside you will find the public bar with a pool room, and a bar at the back. A function room is available upstairs. There are two regular handpumps. The Hanover is a two-minute walk from the bus and railway stations, making it ideal for a quick visit, or the base to explore historic Harwich using the B&B accommodation situated on the upper floors. Caught fire morning of 14th June 2022. Expected to re-open eventually.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
