The pub is found in Borough, Central London, SE1 4YG.
A prominent, street-corner, former Truman’s Brewery pub in Great Dover Street, a largely residential area close to Borough tube station. It was modernised and refurbished in 2003 and now provides comfortable seating in the large ground floor bar. It is operated by the Parched London Pub company. Known for its weekly poetry readings in the upstairs function room which has a bar counter but no handpumps. There is a large oval central servery on the ground floor with 4 handpumps.
We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 8 different beers and tried 4 of them.
