Very busy indeed on Saturday evening – three deep at the bar, a more mature crowd in the comfy seats and ‘Blues Train’ bashing out a few old favourites on the stage.

Well-known town centre real ale house, prominently located in the midst of Friargate. Two seating areas at the front and an area with a stage for live music towards the rear. Has a small back garden. 10 handpumps in banks of 3, 3 and 4.
