Much anticipated event, and not a disappointment. Well done to Eddie Gadd, as the driving force behind this beer tent. Hope next year is bigger and even better.

11:00 visit. Having been pre-warned that there were 20+ winners here, by a mate from Folkestone, who came here on Friday, it was on with the beer goggles for some serious scooping! Overall, I thought this whole event was a big success and I hear that this will be an even bigger event next year with lots of interest and support from nearly all the LocAle brewers. A good turnout, good weather and it did get busy, everywhere, later on too. Well done. I departed gracefully at 17:00, no "capacity" to do some pubs! Switch the Sat Nav on and homeward bound.........

Quiet busy, the weather was good and people were enjoying themselves. Good to meet Kevin and Tom from the Foundry. Seems I missed Andrew by a few minutes.

Friday afternoon, the weather was changeable, and most of the stalls seemed fairly quiet, the tent with the green hop ales being the exception. A number of brewers were present both sides of the bar. The people from the Rocksalt restaurant came round with some free samples of their pork and cabbage because they said it goes very well with Abigale Green Hop ale, and they were right. Last orders were called at around 5.30 and people drifted off towards the Foundry.

It was busy with a variety of people, many of whom I recognised as either landlords, brewers or pub stalwarts. Friendly with good quality beer and lots of food stalls near by for when you're hungry.
