The pub is found in Birkenhead, Merseyside, CH41 6ES.
In Claughton Road, large, very spacious, open plan type, opened in February 1998 and very modern, with full height glass windows all around. Part of a modern retail complex. Named after Birkenhead's first MP. The bar completely encircles the central area. All usual JD refinements. Permanently closed in August 2017.
We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried 1 of them.
