Not too many in when we arrived just before noon but within half an hour the place was heaving with more hungry people. The meal was tasty and very good value. Only one of three pumps was available but beer was priced at £2.45.

Basically an all day carvery laid out with many alcoves containing tables and chairs and with a central bar area where you paid for your meal before collecting it from a section where the meat was freshly carved.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 1 beer and tried it.
