The pub is found in Catford, Greater London, SE6 4JU.
A 1960s build on the edge of a shopping centre and market area off Catford Broadway. Large inside on 2 levels, the raised level used mainly as a restaurant area these days. Smartly furnished throughout and fully carpeted too. Relies on air conditioning for ventilation. The only Young's pub to have a cellar above the pub so the beer has to be issued through special gravity-controlled pumps to prevent flooding every time a pint is poured. 8 handpumps on the bar counter in 2 banks each of 4. Extensive English and Caribbean style meals from Big Mike's including a take-away option. Closed for a while in early 2015 after a little bit of trouble. Re-named in Spring 2015 to Black Cat but still appears to be Young's (or more correctly Ram Pub Company) ownership.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
