I walked in and then straight out when I only saw one handpump on.

I used to come here at lunchtimes when I was a student. The interior has not changed a lot, but the jukebox has gone. Six handpumps on the bar with beers coming on being advertisd on the wall next to the bar.

| Wapping - Schooner | 4.80 | | Gold colour with lasting thin beige head. Citrus hop and yeast aroma. Typical Wapping floral, slightly astringent hop. Good solid malt structure before the hops are back for their tingly party piece on the long finish. Slightly farty yeast, but the hops are great. |
| Boggart - Bog Eyed | 4.00 | | Mid gold in colour with thin white head. Earthy, buttery aroma. Reasonable hop tingle on finish. Unattractive yeast aroma, decent in mouth, maybe very mild diacetyl. Citrus hop finish is ok. Not one of Boggart’s best. |
