23 Jul 2014 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening. Nostalgic walk to the end of the High Street picking out closed pubs then back to here. Pleasant family run house. At one time this was the beer choice oasis in Sheerness in a tide of Shepherd Neame. My visit was plain poor timing as both beers were running out.

Lunchtime - been redecorated into a wine-bar effect, so old maritime effects have gone!

Visited the pub at around midday and found it quite quiet with a few dock workers wandering in and out. I like the feel of the pub which is eclectic and cosy but with the hint of the boozer about it.
BeerABVScoreNotes
York (now brewed by and at Black Sheep) - Decade4.10ExcellentPale lime gold coloured beer. Thin, near non-existent, head. Citrus hops doiminate with stong hints of lime and kiwi. Very refreshing and well crafted.
