Mid afternoon busy with mostly older folk enjoying what seemed like a popular sea food choice amongst others. Better beer range than anticipated here.

Plenty of lunchtime diners. Just a half here as it is painfully expensive. I assume you are paying for the river views; it cannot be for the beer quality, not on the strength of this visit anyway.
Nelson - Admiral IPA | 4.00 | | Amber-coloured and a bit cloudy. Nondescript, bordering on tasteless, except that it was slightly sour. Curses, my second rotten beer in a row. |

Always a crowd in here, particularly on a Sunday.
Adnams - Ghost Ship | 4.50 | | First class condition – perhaps the best example of this beer I have drunk and I am beginning at last to understand why it has such a good reputation. |

Clearly we weren't the only ones who had the idea of coming here. Busy on a glorious sunny evening in London with the sun setting over Docklands.
Adnams - Ghost Ship | 4.50 | | Poured with a murky chill haze that almost prompted me to return the beer but settled reasonably clear. Nice and fruity but just lacking a certain hop sparkle. Improved through the pint. |

Adnams - Southwold Bitter | 3.70 | Not Tried
Slater's - Queen Bee | 4.20 | Not Tried | 2 honey beers on at once - who's decision was that? |

With the sun beating down it seemed like Greenwich would be as good a destination as any to spend the afternoon. After a few off-putting visits last summer, where the pub was regularly running out of all ale and lager, things appeared to be back in order today. We sat at the newly added fluorescent green tables and chairs with a fine view of the Isle of Dogs and the dome. Put off eating by the sky-high prices though.
Sharp's - Atlantic IPA (now replaced by 4.2% Atlantic) | 4.80 | | Very clear, pale, sweet, delicately hopped. Made for pleasant Sunday afternoon drinking. |
Adnams - Broadside | 4.70 | Not Tried
Badger (Hall & Woodhouse) - Flowers Original (subsequently contract brewed at Brains) | 4.40 | Not Tried
Sharp's - Doom Bar | 4.00 | Not Tried

After cycling through Greenwich taking in the Martime Museum, Royal Observatory and other ex naval buildings I was severely impressed with the architecture. The pub itself is very nice and pictures on the walls bear further examination.
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride | 4.10 | | Decent bitter. In fact, just so drinkable. The hop finish is great. Busy pub, but the staff are efficient. |
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - Discovery Blond | 3.90 | Not Tried
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - Chiswick | 3.50 | Not Tried
